Great to be back in Northern Ireland

It was an honour and pleasure to be part of the British Legion festival of remembrance in Corick House, Clogher on Wednesday 24th October. Superbly compered by Gary Wilson,  among others the evening included contributions from Roughan Silver Band, Carntall & Augher Primary Schools Choir, James Emery, Strule River String Band, and the Ulster Scots Juvenile Pipe Band. Big thanks to Lucy from the latter for joining me on the pipes for Jimmy’s Song and On The Road to Passchendaele.

Johnny Jamison and his son Greg were excellent in their reenactment and the whole night was very professionally run and well attended by a warm audience.

Huge thanks to the organisers.
