Inspired by Hermitage Castle which has given me the chills from an early age yet still becons me back. Hermitage has a dark and disturbing past dating to one of the most turbulent times in border history in the bloodiest lawless valley of them all.
The music is haunting with occasional unexpected disharmony, and twists, reminiscent of the castle itself, which still stands in Liddesdale. Whispering from within the shadows.
